Total self-esteem requires total and unconditional acceptance of yourself. You are a unique and worthy individual, regardless of your mistakes, defeats and failures, despite what others may think, say or feel about you or your behavior.

If you truly accept and love yourself, you won’t have a driving need for attention and approval. Self-esteem is a genuine love of self. Stop all adverse value judging of yourself. Stop accepting the adverse value judgments of others. Purge yourself of all condemnation, shame, blame, guilt and remorse.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Hello friends. (smile) Welcome to Day 25 of the A to Z Challenge. Happy Monday. Hope your weekend was blessed. Understanding the power of self-acceptance and the love of God. I love the self-esteem quote above. It’s quite liberating. These are my thoughts.

I praise God for self-acceptance and courage to share our relationship. Thank you, Lord.

When we absolutely understand that nothing can separate us from the love of God, that’s living life with all its stuff. It’s casting cares to someone who can do something about it. (wink)

He loves us even when we stumble or act a fool. Here is the best part, he loves us regardless of our past. He never throws anything back at us.

He accepts and sometimes correct us; but at no time does his love stop. His love is enough to believe all things are possible.

Self-acceptance brings wholeness. Self-acceptance is key to self-esteem. Self-acceptance is an inside requirement. What’s on the inside shows on the outside and dictates speech.

The upside to understanding self-acceptance:

Unique, God made us different
Never settle for less than God’s best
Disciplined in living
Embraces weaknesses
Respects self
Secured God’s love and protection
Transparent by his glory within
Appreciate what you bring to the table
Never alone
Dignity to rise above
Interconnected with The Lord
Needs supplied
Going forward is the natural thing to do

Abundant blessings to keep the faith and enjoy your day because God loves you.

I welcome your thoughts. (smile)
