The Joys and Pains of Moving to a New House

Tags: house

After much planning it was finally realized, two weeks ago we moved to a new House and a new neighborhood in Camella Homes Malolos Subdivision.

We were all excited to be here and the quiet nights and peaceful mornings were no longer a dream. This place is ideal for quiet urban living. The people are friendly and respects privacy. The area is well maintaned and clean. I'd say I have never been happier being home.

The downside however were the defects that we noticed on the very day the house was handed over to us. The leaks and faulty water and electrical utilities, and the seemingly lackadaisical manner with which the production unit (people responsible for the house construction) are a bit of a let down. We have expected more and we have believed that developer of this subdivision had very high standards. Sadly not all dreams come true.

After much negotiation and inspection rectification will be done soon. And hopefully it will solve all the glitches in the property.

But by and large I could say I love the house and I love the new neighborhood. I now firmly claim that this is where we belong.
