Do you love where you live? Do you have a favourite place where you can disappear and just sink yourself into a feeling of how beautiful the world is? I’m lucky: there are so many spots around my home on the edge of the Lakes, and it’s wonderful to see amazing photographers appreciating just how stunning this place is. Wedding photographer Jo Bradbury just took the place I love to a whole new level...
The striking seashore at Rampside on the edge of The Lake District was the inspiration behind this coastal styled shoot. With its quirky Victorian lighthouse, rusting fishing boats and grey green seagrass the shoreline made a perfect backdrop for a romantic and elegant sea themed bridal look.
Rampside itself is somewhat off the well trodden Lake District tourist trail, but is an absolute gem of a place with a sweeping coastline from which you can get a small ferry to Piel Island.
Using a palette of watery blues/greys and greens each supplier created their vision to fit the coastal theme, from the stunning pale sea green and silver embellished cake by Sugar Ruffles, the wispy, ethereal grey tutu by Netties Handmade Tutus to the watercolour coastal look stationery by Emma Jo Stationery. All photographed on the most glorious of October days
