I know the title of this blog post sounds like an exaggeration. But seriously, this $25 Coat Rack changed my life.
Living in LA, a Coat rack never really crossed my mind. I only wear coats a few times a year so I never thought I had a need for a coat rack. But as I started entertaining friends at my home, I noticed where they would put there handbags and jackets. Some would place them on my kitchen counter. Others would drape them over my couch. I realized I need a spot for guests to hang things. Enter the$25 coat rack.
Shop Coat Racks
I looked online for affordable coat racks. I chose this one because a) it was inexpensive and b) it was white. I toyed with making a statement in rose gold but ultimately decided that a white coat rack would effortlessly blend into my white home decor. It was super easy to put together and despite the price tag, it doesn’t look cheap in my home.
Now when guests come over, I immediately offer them a pair of disposable slippers from my basket (it’s a no shoes house!). And as they slip off their shoes, they can hang their bags and jackets on the coat rack.
Even though I originally intended the coat rack to be for guests, I get use out of it on a daily basis! I use it to store the handbags I’m currently rotating between. It helps me remember to swap out the content of my bags when I’m rushing out the door with a new purse. It’s been a game changer in helping me not forget things and as a storage solution to keep my counters and couch free of clutter. See? Life-changing.
