A dairy free dark Chocolate Easter Egg, with chunks of honeycomb and decorated with edible gold, the rather wonderful Chococo Heavenly Honeycombe dark chocolate Easter egg.
Handmade in Dorset this dark chocolate egg is made from 70% cocoa, dairy free, chocolate and the outside is decorated with piped line of dark chocolate, creating ridges, and dusted with shimmering edible gold.
Inside the Chococo Heavenly Honeycombe egg are large chunks of handmade honeycomb*, fixed to the inside of shell with a layer of dark chocolate.
The chocolate, from Grenada, is fragrant but not too strong or overpowering – even at 70%. The aroma is warm and inviting; the flavour is rich without being bitter and has only slight acidity to it. The honeycomb is light and crunchy, dissolving to chewy and sweet. Both are fantastic by themselves, but combined they create a beautiful taste – which has to experienced.
