When the narrative being shared was that she was killed, and when that narrative is slammed by the DA in front of cameras. The only path forward is to call it a coverup to protect a child of a State Trooper.

That’s right, last evening the Middlesex County DA, Marian Ryan spoke to the media, presenting new Evidence that shows no foul play took place in the death of Mikayla Miller. She showed the fitness tracker on Mikayla Miller’s phone, how it evidenced a path from Mikayla’s home directly to the spot she died. Ryan also showed evidence that the teens that did “jump” her the day prior, were nowhere nearby also evidenced by vehicle transponder data.

We are not saying that Mikayla was not murdered. It could be. We may someday know, or we may never know. However. right now, the evidence does not point to murder. There may still be charges stemming from bullying, or for manslaughter, or there may be no charges.

It is important to tell you what the current rumor out there is so that it can be discounted outright, and so that we can move on and do what truly matters.

It is time to mourn the loss of a young woman with huge aspirations.

If you NEED to get Angry, get angry at bullying, or the continued stigma still attached to LBTQ self-identification. Get angry that it STILL is tough being a teenager. Or take the other approach and get angry that there are forces that still want to divide us.

It is time to come together. lets honor Mikayla and stop this silliness.
