Callum Hudson-Odoi has signed a new contract with Chelsea, keeping him at the club until 2024.
The highly-rated teenager, whose current deal expires next summer, said it was an ‘amazing feeling’ to finally put pen to paper.
“It’s been a long wait but it’s done now and I’m really happy about that,” he told chelseafc.com.
“I’ve been a Chelsea player since I was eight and this is the right club for me to be at.
‘I want to lift as many trophies as possible, win as many games as possible and contribute to as many goals as I can as well. As a team, we just want to work hard to achieve the best results we can. I’m delighted everything has been agreed and now I’m just looking forward to properly getting back.’
The 18-year-old frustrated by the lack of first-team opportunities under Maurizio Sarri last season and wanted to complete a move to Bayern Munich, who were seriously interested in securing his services.
The Bundesliga club are thought to have made three bids for the teenager in the January transfer window, with Hudson-Odoi allegedly handing in a transfer request.

The arrival of Frank Lampard as manager, though, looks like it has convinced the winger to stay, with the former midfielder giving multiple opportunities to the club’s best youth players.
Hudson-Odoi has spent the last few months sidelined by an Achilles injury, but recently returned to action and played in a Chelsea youth team game against Brighton, coming off after an hour suggesting he is almost ready for the first team again.
