Manchester United were reportedly offered the chance to sign Moise Kean this summer.
The Juventus forward is on the verge of joining Everton in a deal thought to be worth an initial £27million, though the fee could rise as high as £37m due to various add-ons.
However, the 19-year-old could have joined the Red Devils as he was offered to them by his agent Mino Raiola, according to 90min.
They claim United decided against a move for the teenager striker, however, and this has paved the way for Everton to sign him.

Earlier this week, it was reported by several news outlets that Kean was set for a medical with Everton after a fee had been agreed between Juve and the Toffees.
His salary is reportedly going to be around £2.75m-a-year.
Juventus wanted a buy-back clause as part of the deal, but instead they will have the chance to match any offer Everton receive for the 19-year-old.
