When I was in high school, I was given the diagnosis of stage 4 endometriosis. Then, later, I was given the diagnosis of Interstitial Cystitis. Followed by stomach ulcers. Followed by Mononucleosis. Which, by the way, as exhausting and annoying it is when you’ve had Mono for the usual 6-8 weeks, it’s even more exhausting when you’ve had it for 10 months (and counting). No kidding. This is the story of what I was given. This is also the story of what I am making of it. Maybe one day, this will be the story of my recovery, and the life I have as a healthy adult. But for now, this is A Sick Kid’s Blog.
