My 3 Favourite Resources to Learn How to Write and Be Successful on Medium

If you’re stuck trying to grow an audience or make money Writing, I have the perfect bunch for you:

Tom Kuegler, Anthony Moore, and Dave Schools.

If you don’t know them, follow them now and come back here.

Disclaimer: None of these writers asked me to write about that, and I do NOT get money from them. They have directly and indirectly helped me, and I know they can do the same for you.

Tom Kuegler

Most of what I know from writing specifically on Medium comes from Tom. I learned how to format stories, what works, what doesn’t, Medium’s secret features, etc.

Tom posts regularly on Medium, but he also has a vlog, where he talks about travel, lifestyle and writing.

If you’re interested in making money with your writing, here’s a story where he talks about that:

How I Made $2,000 From My Blog In 24 Hours

If you’re interested in learning how to craft a headline (you should!):

Anthony Moore

Anthony is one of the first writers I started following when I initially joined Medium a little over a year ago. I mostly read him for his self-improvement stories, but I recently took part of his webinar on: How to Go Viral, Get Followers, and Earn Big Profits Writing Online.

The key takeaway for me was how to create viral articles. He provided a PDF with ways to craft a solid headline, and I use it as a reference all the time now.

I believe he’s running it frequently. Check his profile out on Medium, he updates the link to it there.

He also has a course called Wealthy Writers, but I can’t vouch for it since I haven’t tried it.

Here’s one of his recent semi-viral story:

How to Consistently Accomplish 100x More Results With 1/10th Your Usual Effort

Dave Schools

Dave has a great course on Udemy called Writing Revenue: Write Well, Get Published, & Earn Money. It’s incredibly cheap for the amount of goodness you get from it.

Even though I’ve been writing on Medium for almost seven months, I learned many new things, including which words to use — and not to use — and when. If you’re a beginner on Medium, even better! It combines all the lessons that I’ve learned in seven months, and more.

It’s definitely a great way to kickstart your Medium journey.

Even though Dave mostly writes about entrepreneurship, you can see how he mastered his craft in this story for example:

I sat down with a millionaire who operates 10 businesses while sailing around the world with his…

Conclusion

If you want to get better at writing, you can’t go wrong with Tom Kuegler’s blog and vlog, Anthony Moore’s webinar, and Dave Schools’ Udemy course.

I highly recommend checking them out.

Let your writer journey grow like never before!

You can do this!

Thanks for reading, clapping, sharing and following! :)

If you don’t want to go through all the material, I had created a “cheatsheet” a few months ago that I had shared only with a select few people.
