Your Complaints Hold You Back

Middle ground? What middle ground?

We complain when things in our lives both stay stagnant and evolve. Pleasing a “need” is a never ending battle.

In a world of constant upgrades the ability to complain becomes a monumental catalyst to social media. Social media gives EVERYONE a platform to educate the world on what really doesn’t matter and as a result you receive instant gratification via “like”. Is your timeline full of complaints that you can change or let go?

As soon as we get a grip on the present it fades into the past. We’re constantly trying to get a grip of something that’ll never be ergonomic.

Destination from complication

If you’re anything like me I’m sure you’ve been told “complaining will get you nowhere”. To be honest, it’s really relative on how you look at that statement. Complaining will actually get you somewhere, if you decide to take action and make a change. Complaining has the ability to solidify where you are currently. When you complain you recruit people that do the same.

But the good things is when you accomplish goals in life you’ll suddenly find that you’ll attract people that are either in search of what you just completed or individuals that have accomplished what you halve and can help you progress to the next level.

Ask yourself the following questions:

Do you have a kung fu grip on the difference between venting and complaining?

Why are you complaining?

Who benefits from your complaints?

Is your audience louder than your complaints?

Final thoughts

Instead of complaining about life’s challenges, perhaps we should embrace the fact that life’s only training us to be prepared for what we’re aiming for.
