She is the CEO and chairperson of the General Motors Company. Fortune chose her as the most powerful woman of the year and Forbes gave her the first position as the most powerful female CEO.
2. Indira K. Nooyi
CEO and chairperson of PepsiCo, she’s the first Indian-American executive. She was ranked as the second most powerful woman in Fortune’s list of ’51 Most Powerful Women in the World’. She became PepsiCo’s first female CEO.
3. Marillyn Hewson
She is the CEO and president of Lockheed Martin Corporation. She was ranked as 20th most powerful woman by Forbes in the year 2015.
4. Sheryl K. Sandberg
She is the CEO of Facebook, the founder of Leanin.org and the author of best-selling book Lean In: Women, Work, And The Will to Lead. She also held the position of Vice President in Google.
5. Irene Rosenfeld
Irene Rosenfeld is the CEO and chairperson of Mondelēz International. She also has been the chairperson and CEO of Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo and of Krafts Food as well. She was given 6th position in The Wall Street Journal’s ’50 Women to Watch’ list.

She has been holding the position of CEO and chairperson of International Business Machine Corporation since 2012. She has been featured as among the 50 Most Powerful Women in the world.

Ursula Burn is the CEO of the company Xerox. She began as an intern in the same before climbing the ladder to hold the prestige positions in Xerox, including being the Vice President and the President. She is also the first black-American lady to become the head of a Fortune 500 Company.

Current CEO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, she was the CEO of eBay as well. She also ran for the California Governorship. Fortune and Forbes, both included her in their list of most powerful women in the world.
10. Phebe Novakvic
Phebe Novakvic has been holding the position of CEO as well as the chairperson of General Dynamics Corporation since the year 2013. She also had served in the federal government on the posts of CIA, the Defence Department and the Office of Management and Budget. She bagged a rank in the Forbes for being among the most influential female CEOs across the globe.
These women have not only proved their mettel but also have given an inspiration for the female population to strive towards success with all their zeal. They have become the landmark for achievements and accomplishments.
