Easy 10 Minutes Recipes To Keep You Healthy

There are times where we to eat Healthy, but not cook or splurge, and if we are being real here, that is not an easy combination, especially if you have a sweet tooth and you don’t have much time on your hands. But, not anymore, because Upside Me have a few recipes to your rescue:

  1. Date syrup:

    If one of your concerns is finding a healthy sweetener for your food and drinks, we’ve got you. We present to you…an all natural and healthy sweetener –  The Date syrup:

You will need 2 cups of dates, 1 cup of water Water ,1 tbsp of Lemon juice and 1 tbsp of Vanilla extract.  Soak the dates overnight and remove the seeds. Mix all the ingredients and blend till they have a smooth consistency. And…..your natural sweetener is ready!

  1. Smoothie:

If you struggle with eating raw fruits and vegetables, you should definitely try a Smoothie: If you are anything like us, cutting and eating individual fruits is too much work, which is why a smoothie goes a long way.

Mix any fruits that you have, I prefer adding banana or beetroots with any combination of fruits… You may also add lemon juice or the date syrup according to your taste. If not smoothie, then just infuse your water with a few fruits and you will be good to go.

  1. Ice cream:

    Yes! Cause who doesn’t need ice cream? But what we don’t need is the saturated dairy fat and artificial ingredients.

Freeze 2 bananas, I prefer peeling and cutting them beforehand because it is easier than trying to peel a frozen banana. Put the bananas, a tbsp. of cocoa powder, a cup of non-dairy milk, preferably coconut milk, you can also add the date syrup as a sweetener and blend it all together. Put it in the freezer and voila! Your vegan ice cream is ready!! It will not be having as much calories or fat because of the absence of dairy and artificial sweeteners or sugar.

  1. Peanut butter:

This is as easy as the others, just put peanuts in a blender and blend away.

You may have to keep blending and scraping for a while and once you are done add a bit of date syrup and a pinch of salt and blend for a minute again. And you are done. Your savior for the days when you have to leave with just bread or a banana in your hand, your crunchy peanut butter. We hope these recipes help  will make your daily life a lot easier.
