Trick or Treaters are high on sugar while you are left to worry about the leftover candies and have no clue on how to deal with the surplus.

Don’t worry I’m in the same boat as you are, although we had over 110+ kids and teens show up at our door last evening we still have over hundreds of candies and treats in our arsenal.

Easy-peasy fix, FREEZE IT! Throughout the year, add it to milkshakes, sundaes, ice cream and plain cookie dough. (For a quick milkshake, add mini chocolate or Snickers bars to ice cream or frozen yogurt and milk—maybe even throw a banana in there for delicious Banana Choco Shake!)

2. Adults Only fix – Wine ’em Chocs! Scotch-Choc

Pair it with wine the chocolate, caramel, nuttiness of Snickers go great with port wine and the cookie-like Twix goes well with a smooth Scotch, serve it in your next gathering to your friends.

Make an advent calendar for November till Christmas eve, put candy in Dixie cups and cover with tissue. On the tissue, write numbers 1-30, and place the cups sideways on a large poster board to form a calendar. Let kids or your loved ones punch through the tissue to get their treat each day from now till Christmas.
