Whenever we read a review that mentions a shoe’s ability to accommodate an orthotic, we take note (especially when it’s not a gym shoe). The Dansko Emmie is new for fall 2020 but looks similar to the discontinued Dansko Lulu from a few years back. A recent Zappos customer says this about the Emmie:

Three factors make the Emmie orthotic-friendly: a removable footbed, an ankle strap to keep heel from slipping out of shoe, and a roomy forefoot fit.

I love these shoes! This particular style I found so comfortable that I regretted taking them off at night! I need to wear a toe separator– I have bunions. It is not easy to get a pair of shoes that are pretty, comfortable to walk in, and can accommodate my feet.
