Next follow-Palopo City that record the occurrence of criminality as many as 37 cases. Next is the City of Wajo common as many as 33 criminal cases in the past two months.

The next position occupied by Pinrang City with 30 cases, Luwu Utara District with 28 cases, and Sidrap reached 21 cases. Furthermore, the District-Barru recorded 19 cases, and underneath there Bulukumba which recorded 16 cases, and then District of Bone who noted 13 cases.

While the figures for other areas of crime, which is still controlled under the number 10. Among them was the Selayar District, Jeneponto, Tana Toraja, Enrekang, Takalar and East Luwu.

Deputy Mayor of Makassar Syamsu Rizal also said street crime that is currently rife in Makassar city is not just a problem to be solved by the police and city government, but it also requires the participation of all elements of society.

According to Rizal, street crime is already a crime that occurred nearly in major cities in Indonesia, particularly in Sumatra, Java and Sulawesi. Therefore, the efforts of the police to shoot straight to the offender is expected to get a deterrent effect.
