Fulani Herdsmen Kills 12 People In Taraba State, Soldier & Police Take Over Communities
After the killing of 12 persons including 7 men, 2 women and children in Taraba State by Fulani Herdsmen armed soldier and policemen have taken of over the community.
The on rampaged Fulani herdsmen who claimed 12 lives in Coromo, Dan-Anach and Mutum Buyu communities in Gassol Local Government Area of Taraba State injured 18 other people and razed 13 houses to the ground.
The Boko Haram disguised in Fulani herdsmen attack the communities on Friday night. The three community was attacked in one night by Fulani herdsmen killing people and destroying properties.
According to reports over hundreds inhabitants of the community ran for their dear lives to other community for shelter while other ran to the Police Divisional headquarter in Gassol for fear of their lives.
Although arm forces have taken over the community, Tiv people are still on the run for fear that the Fulani herdsmen might attack and the soldier and policemen would not be able to defend them.
Source who spoke with newsmen confirmed the incident and said, soldiers and policemen are patrolling the affected areas to maintain peace and order but the people are still on the run because of fear.
The leader of Tiv community could not be reached as all attempt to reach him failed.
