Sahayta Cancer Sahyog celebrated Christmas with cancer patients at Advanced Pediatric Centre PGIMER

Sahayta Cancer Sahyog Celebrated Christmas and welcomed New Year with lots of enthusiasm and gaiety. The playroom in the Advanced Paediatric Centre of PGIMER  was decorated with a beautiful Christmas tree, stars and buntings. The ambience was created by Pooja Jain and the mood for fun was set by the workshop organised by Deepika Gandhi and her team.

The kids afflicted with cancer could be seen engrossed in making various types of Christmas ornaments. The novel creations along with Santa’s entry were all thoroughly enjoyed by the kids.

It is the priority of the organisation to celebrate all festivals and special events with the junior warriors. The spirit and positivity of the kids and their families was evident as nearly a hundred kids participated and enjoyed the festival of Christmas. “The children were given gifts and goodies and the event was sponsored by Principal Gurukrishan School, Harjeet and Mam Harpreet.”

Paediatric oncologists Dr Amita Trehan, Dr Deepak Bansal and Dr Richa Jain along with Sahayta volunteers were seen encouraging the kids.
