Sephora Has Spoken, and These Are the 21 Perfumes It Can Barely Keep Stocked

According to Sephora’s official website, there are over a thousand women’s fragrances on its shelves, ready for you to wander past. But what’s the fun in discovering and experiencing new fragrances if you don’t know which ones you should try out? So many fragrances we’ve been introduced to have risen in popularity thanks to their success on TikTok; often in association with fashion aesthetics that have received equally high exposure (does “vanilla girl” or “cool girl” ring a bell?). If you’re a lover of playing around with aesthetics and fragrances, here’s Who What Wear’s guide to Sephora’s bestselling perfumes that we think are the perfect embodiment of TikTok’s trendiest aesthetics. Read on to see which Sephora perfumes will be flying off the shelves and the fun aesthetics they match.

Key Notes: Citron, jasmine, teakwood. This Chanel perfume is alive with sparkling citron, soft jasmine, and cozy teakwood to create a fragrance that’s energetic and youthful. It’s a must-have for anyone who loves fragrances that are clean and fresh.

Key Notes: Yuzu lemon, peony, musk. Inspired by Donatella Versace’s favorite florals, this perfume is a bright and fresh blend of yuzu lemon and juicy pomegranate blended with a delightful bouquet of peony, magnolia, and lotus flowers, warmed with notes of musk and amber.

Key Note: Cétalox. Juliette Has a Gun’s Not a Perfume is a minimalist and fresh fragrance composed of only one note, cetalox, which is usually used as a base note in perfumeries. It’s also hypoallergenic; ideal for those with sensitive skin.

Key Notes: Damascus rose, peony, white musk. With bright notes of peony and Damascus rose, this Eau de Toilette blooms for its wearer like a bouquet of fragrant florals. I’ll be adding this one to my roster for ultra-chic, springtime perfumes.

Key Notes: Dark berries, jasmine, musk-amber. Her Eau de Parfum is a lively blend of juicy, dark berries (black currant, blueberry, and raspberry) blended with soft jasmine and violet and warmed with notes of amber and musk. It’s a fruity gourmand with delicate florals and a white woody accord.

Key Notes: Grapefruit, quince, rose accord, white musk. Chanel’s Chance is a vibrant fruity and floral blend that boasts a green grapefruit-quince accord balanced by soft jasmine and cozy white musks. This one is great if you, like me, don’t normally gravitate toward fruity fragrances, and need something light and floral.

Key Notes: Black amber plum, vanilla woods, jasmine blooms. Hair and body fragrance mists are amazing for when you’re on the go or need a quick freshening up (this one is waiting for me right now in my pilates bag). Cheirosa ’40 Bom Dia mixes delicious fruits and sweet florals to capture the vibrance of Rio’s Carnival Balls.

Key Notes: Lavender, orange blossom, musk accord. Floral and feminine, Yves Saint Lauren’ts Libre Eau de Parfum skillfully blends lavender essence from France with sensual Moroccan orange blossom and bold musk accord for a unique fragrance that’s as beautiful and unique as its wearer.

Key Notes: Jasmine, orange blossom, patchouli. If you’ve been in the market for a fragrance that’s as floral as it is warm, try Victory and Rolf’s Flowerbomb. It’s brimming with bright notes of cattleya, jasmine, and rose accompanied by warm patchouli and a sweet vanilla cologne base.

Key Notes: Ylang-ylang, Damascus rose, jasmine. Featuring a blend of seductive florals, J’Adore Dior combines the fruity-floral notes of ylang-ylang essence with the warmth of Damascus rose essence and sweet jasmine. It’s a sensual and mysterious fragrance that will leave everyone guessing.

Key Notes: Neroli bud, white amber, white musk. Prada’s Paradoxe captures the fresh fragrance of the neroli bud with sensual bio-converted amber and warm musk. The chic bottle it comes in is refillable and features the brand’s iconic triangle logo.

Key Notes: Orange, patchouli, Turkish rose. Recalling a daring Coco Chanel in her youth, Coco Mademoiselle is a modern composition of one of Chanel’s most iconic fragrances. It boasts bright and juicy orange mixed with grasse jasmine and may rose at its heart with a base of patchouli and vetiver.

Key Notes: Blackcurrant, jasmine grandiflorum, bourbon vanilla. Inspired by Roman street style and edgy haute couture, Valentino’s Donna Born in Roma features a bright and fearless blend of jasmine flowers, sparkling blackcurrant, warm vanilla, and wood. The uniquely edgy design of its bottle is inspired by Roman architecture.

Key Notes: Jasmine, ylang-ylang, orange blossom, gasse tuberose. Gabrielle is a feminine floral fragrance inspired by Coco Chanel in her youth. It features notes of airy and sweet jasmine and ylang-ylang balanced by bright orange blossom and warm gasse tuberose.

Key Notes: Orange blossom, vanilla absolute, luscious marshmallow. In the mood for something both floral and sweet? Love, Don’t Be Shy offers a floral blend of tender orange blossom absolute, juicy honeysuckle, and plush rose combined with the sweetness and warmth of marshmallow sugar accord.

Key Notes: Clove oil, chestnut accord, vanilla accord. Replica By The Fireplace combines bright orange flower with cozy clove oil, chestnut accord, and chestnut layered on a base of vanilla accord to re-create the coziness of an evening spent in front of a crackling fire.

Key Notes: Tobacco leaf, vanilla, ginger. Other tobacco fragrances have nothing compared to Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanilla Eau de Parfum. It’s a bold and brilliant mix of creamy tonka bean, cocoa, and vanilla juxtaposed by dry fruit accords and sweet wood sap for an opulent and modern scent.

Key Notes: Salted caramel, pistachio, vanilla. Here’s another hair and body fragrance mist by Sol de Janiero that’s selling out at Sephora as we speak. Cheirosa ’62 is a warm and spicy gourmand scent that boasts savory, salted caramel, alluring pistachio, and vanilla to add some sweetness to your day.

Key Notes: Black coffee, white flowers, vanilla. Black Opium is a striking fragrance that mixes adrenaline-rich coffee with light white florals and smooth vanilla. It’s a young, modern scent that’s perfect for a night out of the town or spent in your own company. Either way, you’ll smell amazing.

Key Notes: Vanilla orchids, tonka absolute, amber woods. This bestselling fragrance by Kayali mixes captivating, creamy jasmine with rich vanilla orchids from Madagascar, and the softness of Brazilian tonka. It’s balanced by an aray of vibrant notes including musk, patchouli, amber, and brown sugar.

Key Notes: Skin musk, bergamot nectar, blonde wood. With comforting accords of white musk and sheer florals (sweet jasmine and orange blossom), this perfume by Phlur is infused with a soft woody essence. I love how versatile it is—warm, spicy, and floral without being bold.
