Katy Perry has taken her Hair to shocking new lengths – again!

Just weeks after chopping off her signature raven mane, the music superstar went even shorter with a platinum pixie cut on Monday.

Katy debuted the edgy ‘do on social media, giving her followers a behind-the-scenes look at the process.

In a funny face-morphing video posted to her Instagram story, the “Chained to the Rhythm” singer teased her stylist’s apparent penchant for drastically short locks.   

“When your eyelashes are longer than your hair, you know you’ve gotten a cut from Chris McMillan,” she joked in the clip, as the celebrity hair maven put the finishing touches on his work.

She went on to credit colorist Justin Anderson for the white-blonde hue, and revealed Annie Lennox and model Agyness Deyn as inspiration for her cut before showing it off again in an Instagram selfie.

“Fifth element flow,” Katy captioned her photo, in which she gives the camera an intense stare as her nearly-buzzed locks poke out from underneath an army green hoodie.

While undergoing her previous hair transformation back in March, the 32-year-old admitted on Instagram that she “wasn’t ready” to take the plunge until then – despite Chris saying he’d dreamed of giving Katy a radical new look since the day they’d met.
