7744GILGIT: Governor Gilgit Baltistan Mir Ghazanfar Ali has announced that the Higher Education Commission has approved the establishment of KIU campuses in Hunza, Diamer, and Ghizer districts of Gilgit-Baltistan. He made the announcement while addressing the convocation of Karakorum International University in Gilgit on Saturday. The governor said the federal government is taking steps to provide higher education facilities to students at their doorsteps. He said the university is playing a pivotal role for imparting higher education to students in Gilgit Baltistan. Earlier, the governor awarded degrees to the graduates on behalf of the KIU Chancellor President Mamnoon Hussain.
