Bombarded by Personal Injury Solicitors Ads on TV

Do you tut every time one of those Personal Injury Solicitors adverts appears on the TV? I know I do. It’s not so much what they’re advertising – although for many it is exactly this – rather, it is the cheap and nasty way they are going about it. Most of us would be very surprised if any firm spent any more than £11.99 putting their cheap advertisement together.

However, if you sit back and really think about what it is they’re trying to sell, you should soon realise that they are looking to help people put their lives back together following some terrible accident. These personal injury solicitors services may just seem like our society is becoming more and more litigious and ‘Americanised’, but often such services really will prove to be a life-line to people who need help to get back on track and truly recover following an horrific incident that occurred through no fault of their own.

I guess it all boils down to the old adage that it won’t mean anything to us unless we have been unlucky enough to experience it first-hand. This is most certainly the case. Yes, we can all be cynical and feel that we are joining forces more and more with our cousins across the Atlantic with our ‘sue or be sued’ culture, but lest you forget that the very legal system that exists in the United States of America was passed on down to them from the United Kingdom. They inherited the very British ‘common law’ legal system.

Admittedly, we have to agree that the firms of personal injury solicitors could spend a little more money on the budgets of the advertisements themselves, but then, provided the main message is communicated to potential clients looking for their help, what more can be done?

Whether you love or hate the personal injury solicitors advertisements on TV, they are looking to offer a massively valuable service in this country. Why should people who have suffered pain and financial loss through other people’s actions be forced to put up with things in silence? It’s very simple, they shouldn’t! We live in a civilised society; one where we hold people to account for their wrongdoings.
