FULL RESULTS: November 2022 Pharmacist board exam PhLE list of passers, top 10

MANILA, Philippines – The November 2022 Pharmacy licensure exam (PhLE) or pharmacist Board exam results, which include the full list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing school and performance of schools are available here as expected to be released between November 15-18 or in 3-6 working days after the exam.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) administered the pharmacy board exam in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on November 9 and 10, 2022.

The members of the Board of Pharmacy who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Adelina C. Royo, Officer-In-Charge; Dr. Mildred B. Oliveros and Mr. Anthony Aldrin C. Santiago, Members.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING

PRC said that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow instructions for initial registration.

Date of Registration: TBA

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

VERIFICATION OF RATINGS

Pharmacist board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) will be done online.

Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and enter the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.

COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION

Pharmacist board exam covered the following subjects: pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy and practice of pharmacy (November 9); pharmacology-pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutics and quality assurance/quality control (November 10).

RELEASE OF RESULTS

Based on PRC Resolution No. 1439 s. 2021 for the 'Schedule of Licensure Examinations for Year 2022', the target release of Pharmacist board exam results is on Friday, November 18, 2202.

Note that results may be released ahead or on later date without prior notice. We advise takers to monitor release of results between November 15 and 18 or in 3-6 working days after the exam.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

In the April 2022 Pharmacist board exams, results were announced in four (4) working days. PRC named 678 out of 1,870 who passed the exams. Adriel Luigi Garcia Coseip from University of the Philippines (UP)-Manila topped the board with 91.63%.

In the November 2021 Pharmacist board exams, PRC also released in 4 working days. A total of 1,207 out of 2,371 passed the exams. Nicola Christine Aquino Rivera from UP-Manila aced the board with 93.90%.

In the June 2021 Pharmacy exams, PRC announced results in five (5) working days. A total of 1,546 out of 2,337 successfully hurdled the exams. Deanne Marizthel Janda Madrio from Lyceum of the Philippines University - Batangas led the passers with 93.55%.

In the April 2021 Pharmacy exams, results were released after 4 working days. A total of 674 out of 1,168 passed the exams. Angelo Proceso Feliciano Zarate, Lyceum Northwestern University - Dagupan City alum, led the passers with 90.70%.

Scheduled pharmacist board exams in 2020 were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In August 2019, 3,097 out of 4,455 successfully hurdled the exams. PRC released results in three (3) working days. Janelle Samantha Que See from UP - Manila topped the board with 92.58%.

ABOUT THE PROFESSION

A pharmacist is a licensed healthcare professional whose role has evolved from providing "compounding and dispensing services" to "medication therapy management", performing various roles to ensure that patients achieve optimal health outcomes through the proper use of pharmaceutical products.

Among the functions of pharmacist are patient-centered care, pharmaceutical products manufacturing, distribution and dispensing, medicine supply management, entrepreneurial and organizational management and research.

The cost of Pharmacy education in the Philippines may range from Php 20,000 to Php 65,000 per semester in private institutions and 40-75% in government educational institutions.
