Jennifer Williams’ engagement has people talking on social media.

“Basketball Wives” star Jennifer Williams is excitedly planning her upcoming wedding to Christian Gold during the current season. Interestingly enough, there has been some skepticism surrounding Christian. Jennifer’s past romantic relationships didn’t necessarily make most fans confident about her latest choice in a fiancé. The first person to question Christian was former cast member Vanessa Rider. She looked up Christian’s background information. She said Christian Gold is not his real name. Vanessa also found out about Christian’s past arrest. And since he had a one-year-old and two-year-old at the start of his relationship with Jennifer, Vanessa suspected that Christian could be trying to scam Jennifer. Some fans didn’t think Vanessa’s suspicions were invalid because Jennifer alleged an ex scammed her and he allegedly stole her Range Rover.

Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer were upset about Vanessa’s investigation of Christian. They wasted no time calling her out for her actions. Christian also confronted Vanessa at an event which she found problematic since her husband Isaiah Rider wasn’t there.

Vanessa has since exited the show but fans are even more suspicious of Christian now due to a recent episode. During the scene, Christian told Jennifer his restitution is nearly $250,000.

Maino attempted to warn Jennifer Williams about Christian Gold?

The clip went viral on social media. Some felt like Christian was asking Jennifer to take care of his restitution. And they believe Jennifer is being scammed.

Jennifer addressed this on “Way Up With Angela Yee.”

She said, “I don’t know how the show was edited. This is not something that is new. Like I knew Christian had this restitution to pay. And I’m not sure how it plays on the show, he never asked me to pay it. I never paid a single thing. Christian is very much a gentleman. My protector, he is a provider. And he has been handling his business.”

Jennifer continued, “It’s not my job to pay his restitution. He’s never asked me to pay it. When you called me, I was like what do you mean it’s going viral?”

Rapper Maino then said, “But you do know a lot of times when people be doing those long cons that they don’t really ask straight up. They kind of like lean in.”

Angela Yee interjected, “Maino! That’s her fiancé.”

Maino replied, “I’m saying, I’m being honest.”

Jennifer stood by her man, “Here’s the thing, we’ve been together for almost two years. Christian has never asked me to pay for a thing. He has his own money. He’s very successful. He day trades, he manages people’s money. He doesn’t have an issue with money.”

A lawyer put Jennifer Williams’ boo on blast.

Lawyer and YouTuber Attorney Symone looked into Christian. She said that Christian’s claim of being an investor who manages $10 million worth of client accounts doesn’t make sense because felons who are on parole cannot secure the licenses and certifications necessary to manage other people’s money. So it is illegal for him to manage money. Attorney Symone also did a background check and alleged that Christian has no assets despite claiming he is a millionaire and articles suggesting he has a $10 million net worth.

The part of Attorney Symone’s video that really left people flabbergasted is the claim that Christian’s restitution is allegedly $12,500 and not $250,000. Check out the documents in the video below.
