The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC has uploaded the official notification for Combined Defence Services (CDS) II exam 2019 on June 12. The aspirants can check the UPSC CDS II 2019 notification on the official website of UPSC i.e upsc.gov.in. It is the arch through which young aspirants can join any of the officer cadres of Indian Defence Services- Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy. The exam is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
The two phases of the exam are known as CDS I and CDS II which are generally conducted in February and November respectively but CDS 2019 exam will be conducted in February and September released on UPSC website.

Note: Candidates must be physically fit as per the UPSC physical standards for admission to Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) II 2019.
Nationality:
- Aspirants must be the citizens of India.
- Subjects of Bhutan, Nepal, and Tibetan refugee who came to India before the 1 January 1962
- A person of India origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- Aspirants must have Certificate issued by Indian authorities certifying their claim.
