Reliance Communications rose 2.34% to Rs 37.10 in late Morning on BSE after the company said it obtained SEBI’s nod for proposed demerger of wireless business into Aircel. On the BSE, 24.45 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far. The Stock had hit a high and low of Rs 38.15 and Rs 36.25 respectively, during the day. The mid-cap company has equity capital of Rs 1,244.49 crore. The face value per share is Rs. 5.

McNally Bharat Engineering Company rose 4.97% to Rs 56 today morning on BSE after the company announced that it has secured an order worth about Rs 415.29 crore from Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation. On the BSE, 26,000 shares have been traded on the counter so far vis-a- vis the average daily volumes of 18,873 shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high and low of Rs 59.85 and Rs 53.50 respectively, during the day.

Rupa &  Company jumped 11.17% to Rs 305.50 at the morning hours on BSE after the company announced that its subsidiary struck a deal with US-based innerwear company to manufacture and sell its products in India. On the BSE, 28,000 shares were traded in the counter so far, compared with average daily volumes of 2,438 shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high and low of Rs 319.70 and Rs 292.50 respectively, so far during the day.

Back to market, at 11.50 IST, the benchmark index, the BSE Sensex, was down 18.29 points at 29,424.34, while the Nifty50 index down 0.45 points at 9,086.55.
