After two days of continuous struggle today the market ends with a high note or Nifty cross the level of 7,900. The BSE Sensex closed at 25,790 gain by 193 points and 50-share NSE Nifty closed at 7,900.40 gain by 51.55 points or 0.66%.
The BSE Midcap index ended 0.69% higher and the smallcap gained 0.93%. Sugar stocks extended their rally for third straight day as 24 out of 35 stocks ended with gains. Shares of RSWM gained 13.56 after the company reported a 7% rise in net profit for the march quarter.
In Asia,China Shanghai Composite index ended 0.04% lower,while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng lost 0.70% and Japan’s Nikkei surged a 0.41%.
On Thursday shares of TVS Srichakra ended with gains of 0.45%.
Also Banking stocks Ended Higher by 3.6%.
