North Korea Fires a Long Range Missile Over Japan - Crossing the Red Line?

North Korea fired a long range Missile over Japan in the early morning on August 29th (today). The missile flew for about 2,700 kilometers (1,700 miles) at a maximum altitude of 550 kilometers. To put this in perspective, the distance from Seoul to Guam is about 3,000 kilometers and from Seoul to Hawaii is 7,600 kilometers. Japan and the US military probably have the capability to shoot down the long range missile fired by North Korea today but they did not choose to shoot it...(continued)
