The Jewar airport project is one of the most ambitious projects of both center and state. From then the development work took at a very fast pace whether it is finalizing the land or various other documentations.

Recently it was also decided to develop this airport in a full-fledged aviation hub. The Noida International Greenfield Airport is located about 72 km from Delhi airport.  Many alternative routes are also being planned to lessen this distance.
