Happy 10K TF!

Speaking of blogs that I follow, I've also been an avid fan of this one since... whenever it was that I found out about it.

I posted a bit more about file sharing and the perils of free Internet back in the day. Priorities have shifted, but this is, now more than ever, the definite #1 source for staying up-to-date on all issues Internet/integrity/P2P-related. A few similar blogs existed back then, but as far as I know they all fell away, yet this one grew to become that one outlet you can truly rely on, while most media portals skew their stories with sensationalism and opinion. Not that there's no opinion here, but... it's a different kind.

Some things were better before, like their Layout (the only post there I've ever commented on is the one about their layout change - it starts with I like the responsiveness of the new layout...), but maybe they've learned from their errors. Three years ago they launched their new design, and three years later... I'm still not all that happy with it, but it is what it is. The content's the important part, and on that point they've been delivering steadily for 10 + years.

Coincidentally we both started our blogs the same year, but apart from that time-related tidbit there is little similarity... well, there's also what seems to be a similar standpoint on free speech and integrity. Rights. The need to overthrow current monopolies and create a new system that benefits the masses. Revolution! No wait I don't really mean that, nothing so drastic, the wrong person might be reading this...

Regarding the blog though, I'm finally all caught up reading the ones I missed during three months worth of summer. Skimming, I mean. And damn that's a lot of breaking news for a site with just two authors and interviewers! I won't wish they slow down, but hope my reading speed increases. They passed their impressive five digit number a while ago, but it took a few hundred before I caught up...

Let us just conclude with a Big Congrats to 10,000 educating, inspiring, and unfortunately sometimes very depressing (concerning the big-brother-like current states of the world) articles over these years! And looking forward to many more.
