Tips For Creating An Online Presence Of Your Business

The online businesses know how important it is to get their website indexed by search engines, especially Google. People should be able to find your Business online. And, that is possible only when you explore different channels, for building brand awareness, and to promote your business.

Ways To Maximize Brands’ Online Presence

By following some of the tips shown below, your organization would be able to increase website traffic. Try these online methods for getting your website (increase crawl rate) indexed faster by the search engines, and to increase online visibility.

Social Bookmarking Sites

You can build social media awareness, by bookmarking your website and associated links through different Social Bookmarking Sites. Hundreds and thousands of social bookmarking sites are readily available online (Reddit, Stumbleupon, Digg etc.), where you can register and begin bookmarking your web pages. From bookmarking your websites to your blogs/articles and other stuff – you can bookmark just anything (and everything), and get people take note of your business.

Websites with high page rank are highly preferred. However, you can think of creating your account in as many social bookmarking sites available online. When you create an account, make sure of filling complete profile information, i.e. your profile image, contact information (email, phone number, physical address etc.). This is very important. Do not leave your profile page empty, in any case. If you want to see your business ranked for a particular keyword, try to sign-up your account with that specific keyword. This would help your business rank quickly, online, whenever your prospects search your business with that exact keyword or the combination, possibilities are high (that) your business listings would pop up.

Image/Photo Sharing:

We all know that pictures speak louder than words. Yes, an image is worth a thousand words. You can convey your messages better with a colorful photo, than writing a blog for a long time. You can use different image/photo Sharing websites available to communicate your brand to/with your targeted audience. Sites like Instagram, Pinterest, Flickr, Imgur, Photobucket (etc) would be great to begin sharing your images with the world. Instead of using stock photos to promote your brand, try to capture and endorse real images, e.g. you can capture the moments within your organization. It could be the birthday party of somebody, a social gathering, event, or just anything. If anybody in the organization is keen on photography, let him/her help your firm with high-resolution images and pictures. Content is King, and there is no doubt about that. However, taking note of the precious time of ‘everyone’ in the web world (not everyone is fond of reading novels and long articles), you should try to communicate better and fast with colorful and attractive (yet professional looking) images. Try out.

Video Sharing:

Like we said about images, above, you can even promote your company through different video sharing sites. YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion are a few of the recommended video sharing sites for online promotions. You can create videos, and that could be anything about your business. You can connect better with your targeted audience/customers through inspiring and amazing videos of your business.

Blog/Article Marketing and Promotions

Content is King. When you write long (business related and other) blogs taking time, you definitely want the world to see your work. And, what could help you better than several blogs and article marketing sites. Do not limit your content, by publishing it only on your website. Communicate your message by sharing your content through different blog/article submission sites (Hubpages, Ezinearticles etc.). This would give your business good market exposure (without spending a fortune), and help in increasing website traffic.

Free Classified Ads

Like the daily Newspaper ads (we all have seen), you can create awareness about your brand, products, and services through free classified websites. If you are targeting a local market (i.e. want to attract local customers), you can choose your location (category) accordingly. Same as Newspaper ads, most of the online classified ads have an expiry date. You may be required to renew your listing/ad, often. In case, you have a budget, you can opt for the paid classified ads. Online classified ads would help you position your brand effectively in the targeted market or segment.

Free Directories/Business Listings

You might be using print Yellow pages and directories, to list your business, already. In the same way, you can use free directories available online to list your websites. Hundreds of free directories are available online, where you do not require to go through registration formalities (sign-up/sign-in procedure). You can plainly select the relevant category of your business, and list your website straight away. Please note, most of the free directory submission sites often take time for approval. In case you have a budget, you can speed up the listing process by paying the fee/amount, for quick approval.

Slide/Presentation/Document Sharing

If you are good at effective PowerPoint presentations, then you can promote your content through different slide (presentation) sharing websites. If you have written a great blog and want the world to see it, you can use these sites, and engage visitors.

When you work with slide/presentation sharing sites, you may be allowed to upload documents in different formats (except for a few websites that have restrictions), viz. DOC, PDF, ODP, PPT etc. For the same reason, try to get your documents converted (if possible) in different formats, so that you could publish it everywhere. So, if you have anything in mind, and you think everyone would be able to gain from it, then, just get it documented and share it through several presentations and document sharing sites. You can begin with: Slideshare and Authorstream.

Try these (marketing strategies) out. However, do not leave your profile pages, empty, any day. Fill those out.
