 Rename Multiple Files extension: To rename bulk files in a single command use Rename as following:-

Move files to another directory: To move certain / all files from one directory to another. Let us suppose we have mp3 and mp4 songs in one folder and we want to move all mp3 files to a separate folder. We can do this with single command prompt code instead of finding and moving certain files manually. This works on all file extension, we are just using mp3 and mp4 files as example.



Delete Multiple Files: To delete multiple files from a directory we can utilize windows command prompt code instead of manual deletion. Follow the same example we used in above command and just change Del *.mp3. this will delete all files with mp3 extension.

File Compare using windows command prompt code: If you want to compare two or more files in a directory, FC command can be useful. Instead of reading each file one by one, we can compare files using FC command.

Change directory or to a certain folder with single click: To move to a certain folder simply open that folder, copy the address from address bar and paste it in command prompt using right click and paste as control + V will not work in command prompt windows.
