Better charging performance, more user interface

Nothing Company is rolling out a new update for the Nothing OS (1). This comes just a few days after the previous software update. The new update will not introduce any new features. However, there will be fixes to some of the existing issues. The new Nothing OS(1) update 1.1.2 has been rolled out to devices. The update has already landed on Nothing Phone (1) and users can check the availability on their device by going to settings and looking at the Software Update section. The Nothing OS (1) version 1.1.2 update will bring changes to the device’s fingerprint sensor, Charging Performance, UI changes, Always-on feature and to some bugs and fixes. The new update does not bring significant features or changes to the user interface or the list of existing features. What’s new on Nothing Phone (1)

Fingerprint sensor icon: The new Nothing Phone (1) update will introduce a new toggle to show the fingerprint icon when the screen is off. What this feature will do is that whenever you move your device, the fingerprint scanner icon will show up to guide the user to the right place even when the screen is off. Always On setting: The default Always-On setting has been changed. Prior to this update, if the user enabled the Always-on feature, the screen would stay on even at night. Now a new default setting has been introduced. If you activate the Always-on function, the phone will stop illuminating the screen at night.

Improved charging performance: There is no claim that the new update has improved the Charging performance of the phone. However, there are no details on what has changed. The update log also claims that the new version will also get improved compatibility with third-party loaders.

Other changes: The update log also claims that the new version of Nothing OS (1) fixed the Bluetooth codec issue. Additionally, some minor UI details have been changed. Apart from all these changes, Nothing OS (1) version 1.1.2 brings some general bug fixes and stability improvements.

Since Nothing Phone (1) receives frequent updates, users should expect most major software issues to be resolved quickly. The company recently made its second sale, which resulted in a quick “out of stock” notification.
