Tecno does not stop growing in the market. Well, because they have presented Eagle Eye Lens , a technology that promises to revolutionize the way in which you record with your phone.

Eagle Eye Lens: the lens that could change the way you record with your mobile

Eagle Eye Lens is a unique lens system to date. It is a double prism telephoto camera that manages to automatically track objects when recording . As you can see in the video that we left here above, this pair of prisms works independently and, according to Tecno, they can move synchronously or not.

Each prism has the ability to rotate on its own axis. The first of them does it with a range of 8° (+/-), while the second does it with 10° (+/-). In this way, when the prisms combine their movements, the camera can track objects in a range of 16 – 20° (+/-) . And while this technology is fully exploited when recording, it also works for photo mode.

But… In what circumstances will this technology be used to the maximum? Well , when recording scenes with a lot of movement such as sporting events , car races or situations in which it is usually difficult to obtain sharpness due to the speed of the image.

Likewise, it is also important to mention that the Eagle Eye Lens double prism system also powers optical image stabilization (OIS) . Finally, it should be noted that Tecno has not yet revealed when it will release this technology, although it is expected to debut in the manufacturer’s next flagship by 2023.
