The popular video game company Square Enix has just announced that one of its studios dedicated to the development of titles for Android and iOS will close soon. That’s right, Onoma Studio (originally known as Square Enix Montreal) will say goodbye this November 24 and with it four of its games that were still available in the Play Store will disappear. Through his Twitter account, Onoma Studio has revealed that from December 1st the following titles will no longer be available in the Google Play Store and App Store: Deus Ex Go , Hitman Sniper The Shadows , Arena Battle Champions and Space Invaders Hidden Heroes . . In addition, they announced that the servers of these games will stop providing services as of January 4, 2023, so the study encourages users of these titles to avoid making new purchases within the games.

Space Invaders Hidden Heroes players (without online multiplayer) will not suffer from server shutdowns. However, Deus Ex Go, Arena Battle Champions, and Hitman Sniper The Shadows do require constant communication with the servers to be playable. This means that they will be obsolete from next year , so take advantage of playing them in their last days.

Now, it is important to mention that Lara Croft Go and Hitman Go (two games that are also from Onoma) will not be affected by the studio’s closure and will remain in the Google and Apple app store.
