Changing or Removing the 'Delete' Icon

After every comment that you have posted , you might have seen a tiny recycle bin type Icon that directs you to Delete your comment. Do you hate it ? I mean , do you want to add your own image to there ? or add a text ? Or you may want to remove this delete icon , once and for all. Now here is the way....

Classic Delete Icon " "

1. Edit your Template
2. Now find out

b:includable id='commentDeleteIcon'

( press 'Ctrl' + F to open your browser's search box)

Now scroll down , you will see a code line as

<img src='http://www.blogger.com/img/icon_delete13.gif'/>

Most of times , this image is common to every blog. So you even can search directly the code line

<img src='http://www.blogger.com/img/icon_delete13.gif'/>

Now add replace the existing Image URL with your Image's URL

Or you can add a text instead of a Image , just delete the code line

<img src='http://www.blogger.com/img/icon_delete13.gif'/>

and type any thing you want. ( Ex:- 'Delete' , 'Remove' ...... ) But I recommend you to not to add a text. I may be feel odd.

now you can continue your search under the code line

<img src='http://www.blogger.com/img/icon_delete13.gif'/>

and
you may find out another code line , which is for delete Backlinks. Change it too. ( If you want to :) )

Now follow the Safety Saving Steps.
