WhatsApp Video Calling Feature Available for Windows Phone Users

whatsapp video calling

WhatsApp Video Calling one of the most awaited features by Whatsapp users, is being rolled out to the beta users on Windows Phone. This feature is made available in Whatsapp Beta 2.16.260 update and is enabled by default.

To access this feature, you need to click on the calling button and choose between Voice and Video calling options. You can even switch between front and rear camera while making Video call and can also mute the call if required. As per reports, there is also a facility of front-facing flash and easy zooming in video call.

Apart from this, the WhatsApp for iOS update also lets Group Admins to invite other WhatsApp users to join a group. For this, the group admins have to tap on the link ‘Group Invite Link’ in the Group Info section.

Unfortunately, this feature is currently available for Window Phone Users and it’s not fully functional yet. But some users of different countries are able to make video calls. Expectedly, the feature will work properly soon on every supporting mobile phone. Although it has not revealed when the particular feature would reach on Android and iOS apps but we can assume that Android and iOS platforms cannot remain behind so far.
