World War Z has been under production for quite some time now, the movie was initially slated for a 2017 release, but things shifted quick, first with the original director J.A. Bayona leaving the film and second that Paramount has always been reluctant to give the movie a complete green light.

Initially, we thought the movie would be bumped to 2018-2019. However, it has been tricky as of 2019 a news circulated which said that the movie had been dropped for now even after a year later we have no news about World War Z 2 so it is safe to say that fans will have to be patient and wait until an official announcement is made about the future of the franchise.

WHERE DID THE ORIGINAL WORLD WAR Z LEFT US?

The original World War Z was supposed to end with a massive disaster in Russia, but the scrip was changed and the change that was made helped people discover was could be done to avoid zombie attacks, it said that zombies would not attack a person if they know he is already sick.

To help people survive, a vaccine was made so that people could be camouflaged as sick, and at the end of the movie, humanity prevailed.

If we ever get World War Z 2, then the script of the movie will be entirely different, probably set up in today’s time and age.
