Narcos Mexico: Will We Have A Season 3?

Narcos Mexico: Will We Have A Season 3?

Will ‘Narcos: Mexico’ return for season 3?  It’s far from the end of the story!!!

While Netflix has announced that Narcos: Mexico will return for season 3, the amount of source material and the lasting popularity of the Narcos franchise means that the program has a good chance of being renewed.  Fans won’t have to wait long to hear the potential good news: if the show follows the renewal trend of season 2, Netflix can announce its decision immediately after the premiere of season 3.

Netflix has announced that Narcos: Mexico will return for season 3!!!

It’s almost a fact that there will be more seasons, given that Narcos listener Eric Newman has a fairly strong relationship with Netflix.  According to the Hollywood Reporter, Newman signed a general series agreement of several series with Netflix in 2018, including Narcos, Hemlock Grove and the movie Bright for the Streaming Service.

Since Narcos: Mexico is based on real events that add to today’s problems, there are certainly more stories to explore for Newman.  The first season soared in Mexico when presenting the Guadalajara Cartel, and Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo joined several posters under the same flag.  During season 1, Gallardo’s biggest antagonist for expansion is Enrique “Kiki” Camarena, a real-life Drug Control Administration (DEA) agent who infiltrated Gallardo’s operation and was eventually kidnapped, tortured and killed by Gallardo’s men.

Narcos: Mexico Season 2 will follow Operation Leynde, launched by Dera following Camarena’s death.  In the program, the fictional character Agent Walt Brezlin will head the charge, and the season will probably be more than a disaster of operations, including suspicions that some Mexican government officials and police helped cover up evidence to protect the cartel.  The second season also follows Isabella Bautista (based on Sandra Belt Vila Beltran) and the breakup of Alina Arellano Felix from the Gallardo union and her influence on the cartel’s business.

What did we expect from Season 3?

Like Narcos: Mexico could discover in Season 3, the assassination of Camarena and Operation Lynda marked a turning point for the fight against drug trafficking in Mexico.  According to the BBC, the operation divided the Gdanalzara cartel into disintegrating groups, one of which became the Sinaloa Cartel, led by a former Gallardo Protection, Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, played by Alejandro Edda in the series.

In the third season, the story of Guzman coming to power, the story of Isabella and Annadina or the United States.  The government’s struggle to overcome the growing problem of drug trafficking in Mexico is easily understood.  It’s just a matter of making Netflix official.
