Apprentice Software Developer
You will be given coaching, guidance, and free reign to develop your skills and deliver projects for our clients. Your day to day activities will include developing solutions from scratch (using PHP backend as a base), enhancing & supporting existing solutions and of course developing skills in the full spectrum of DevOps responsibilities.
We are a friendly, open, and supportive team working from modern, clean and accessible offices. We have roles available with an immediate start to suit.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
- Developing software solutions as part of a team
- Writing and maintaining technical and user documentation
- Delivering well written, clean and testable code
- Taking part in team meetings and discussions to design technical solutions
- Shaping the direction of tech decisions within the team
- Ongoing communication/coordination with the client
- Enthusiasm for problem solving, learning and sharing knowledge
- Coding using Open-Source technology
- Building databases using SQL technologies (Postgres and mySQL)
Apprentice Software Tester
You will be given coaching, guidance, and free reign to develop your testing skills across both manual and automated testing. Your day to day activities will include producing test plans, testing web and mobile applications, developing automated tests and ensuring solutions meet the highest quality level we set.
We are a friendly, open, and supportive team working from modern, clean and accessible offices. We have roles available with an immediate start to suit.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
- Developing test plans and test cases for a wide range of applications
- Performing manual testing on a wide variety of systems using different browsers, emulators and physical devices
- Delivering well written, clean and concise test cases
- Taking part in team meetings and discussions to continually improve the quality of our deliverables
- Support clients to understand how to test, how to report defects/changes and presenting reports
- Generate ongoing reports as to the status of testing including identifying any blocking defects preventing test progress
- Enthusiasm for problem solving, learning and sharing knowledge
- An interest/ability to code which is especially useful for automated testing
- Ability to mine data from various sources for use in testing – either from existing systems, client interviews or the internet
