Galaxy S10 May Have “Swipe To Selfie” Feature

As the release date approaches more and more leaks are flowing, earlier it was a Punch Hole for Galaxy S10, followed by a spinning light or glow to indicate its presence and activity. Now it turns out Samsung will have another feature which seems to make use of the dead space (punch hole) to immediately launch camera app into Selfie mode.

According to the popular leakster @Iceuniverse, a feature which already exists in the Galaxy A8 will be included in the Galaxy S10. Though the camera hole is dead when it comes to pixels it still is touch sensitive. Galaxy A8 not many know it also comes with a where you can swipe down from the punch hole to launch the camera app immediately in Selfie mode.

With this feature, you can easily work around the Selfie feature single-handedly. Simply hold the phone and stretch out your thumb to perform the gesture and its active. This saves you from around two to three taps and you can perform the task in a single swipe.

Galaxy S10 does not seem to be selling the punch hole design and perhaps this hidden feature seems to be less of justification than mere compensation for the lack of it. It certainly seems to be a distraction for users as users get used to it and mentally turn a blind eye to it.
