Toyota’s engineering society built a Robot with artificial intelligence and the ability to shoot hoops that put professional basketball players to shame. CUE is a robot that can shoot with near-perfect precision at short range.

The robot made an appearance during halftime of the men’s basketball game between the United States and France at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, and demonstrated its amazing shooting talents to the audience. It started with a free throw and a three-pointer, then a half-court shot.
