This week is the Rsa Conference, one of the world’s great IT Security meetings that attracts 45,000 attendees from all over the world. The event runs from April 16 to 19, 2018 at both the North and South Hall of the Moscone Center. Among the keynote speakers are Riz Khan, an international journalist, author, and public speaker, and Monica Lewinsky, a social activist, writer, and public speaker.
Some hot topics schedule are: Automotive, Aviation and Mobility Cybersecurity, Evolve or Die, How to Stop Getting Slaughtered Due to Bad Vulnerability Management, the Promise of IoT Best Practices, Testing and Hazards of Inaction, and tons of other sessions, tutorials, trainings and special events, specifically book signings for authors such as Bruce Scheier and Lance Hayden. Check the book signings schedule here. There are also Conference tracks for the full conference attendees. No matter what draws you to the RSA Conference, be sure to map out your schedule for each day including the time and location of preferred sessions, particularly if they are located in two different halls. Give yourself at least a half hour to walk from one building to another.
The Expo Hall is also a center where technology vendors will showcase their products and services, both new and existing, to attendees. We will be presenting our security services at South Hall Booth #2042. Don’t forget to drop by if you happen to be there.
If you haven’t registered, you can use the highlighted URL with code X8ACCENDNT for a free pass. The deadline to redeem Expo Pass Code is Thursday, April 19, 2018, so don’t want until the last minute. There are thousands of different exhibitors at the Expo Hall, and you have nothing to lose by learning the latest new trends in technology.
If you plan to attend, make sure you plan your trip well in advance as traffic around the Moscone will not be light. Give yourself at least half an hour so you don’t have to rush. There are several parking garages nearby but given the number of expected attendees, parking will not be easy. If possible, take public transportation to avoid commute stress.
