Bangalore Metro Travelling Experiences

Bengaluru or Bangalore had been my second home since childhood. WIth parents and young siblings we used to go there and stayed in hotels, holiday homes and enjoy the trip out there. The climate is cool and we have seen different versions of Majestic bus stations and for the first time in life I saw stairs over the roads and people tend to know from which direction they will reach their destination bus stand and that astonishes me. On the other side of the road there is Bangalore Railway Station. We can go there through underground crossovers. On the side of Majestic local city bus stand now stands the newly created Metro station, the citi local Train rides.

During the year 1991 we have seen how Majestic bus terminal stands tall and how it is now becoming heritage. Now in the year 2020 we saw the newly constructed Metro railway station and for the first time we will be going into it and experience the super classy metro railway station. It was well secured and security was quite good. One needs to go towards a complete whole body check up and then followed by luggage check and then there is restriction of taking no. of luggages per person and perhaps if I recall correctly then it should be one per one adult person and while going down at the right side there is a ticket room entirely computerized.

Security checks at the entrance are strict and then we go downstairs and at the right side there is a booking counter. Each station costs ten rupees and they will provide plastic coins and that is the gate pass and you have to place it at the entrance so that the gates will open and you are allowed to enter into the next level which is nearer to staircases that will lead ultimately to the platforms..One need to go to downstairs to reach to platform.

There is a difference of platforms between normal trains as well as that of metro platforms. It is entirely sophisticated and far more giving airport experience when you put steps into Metro stations platforms and that makes you feel as if you are at an airport. We have to go downstairs and then the platform similar to that of foreign locations comes out and for some moments we do feel that we are at some international airport and that coincides with it fully.

There is not any trace of any dusts out there and the entire platform is full of security and housekeeping staff. Security was standing beside the line where people are not allowed to walk in and this measure has been done to protect life of persons as they might come close to the speeding metro train and that consequently lead to disastrous and while seeing this provision it is one of better amenities out there. People automatically stood in a queue by hearing the instructions of security persons who knew at which location the door would be there. ‘

Within two to three minutes the next train arrives and it comes with great neck speed and the entire coach is transparent and that makes the sense of luxury at its best. In the electronic boards the countdown of the train that is to be reached at the platforms of time could be seen and you should know within such seconds the next train will come and if you have any difficulties then there are station staff moving here and there and they will assist you with their solutions. After entering the train, be cautious not to stay at the entrance as that will close automatically within some seconds and the train will move all of a sudden and the speed of the train will increase at great neck speed.

On the upper side of the train you can see the routes and on which route train was going and at what within what time the train will reach and for it one red dot will be moving with it and there are many seats out there and apart from the time during peak office hours, you will find comfortable seats always and you do not need to be worried about it at all. Before the metro train reaches the next station there will be an announcement of the location in three languages, and if you can understand then you can stay prepared to get off the train.

It is important to keep the ticket button in safe way as you need this when you go out from metro station as once again you would have to put the ticket at the gate and the gate will automatically opens up and that is why it is important to understand the importance of tickets and if in your family three persons then give tickets of each to each person as some times when due to rush hours yours family of three unable to go out and one person stays then he can reach to the next station and then come back if the plastic circular ticket is with him otherwise there could be panic within family and it is important to understand the importance of it and each and every adults should have their own tickets with hm in case such situation happens.

At the entrance there are four doors but only one security guard will be there as in front of the gate it is automatically operated and for this you need to put yours circular coins out there and then the gate opens up automatically.  If any problem occurs such as mechanical problems then security guard can manually open it for the convenience of commuters. I find world class facilities with each amenities at ours perusal and there are great customer support and for sure  you will nt be annoyed with anything but satisfy the journey of little time that would be remember by you for life time especially from the people who belongs to comparatively small town like us.

When you come out of metro station then you will be reaching to realties as there would be recognizable roads, traffics . and lots of vehicles. This improves the dreamy experience of journey into metro and that remains in my memory forever.
