New Delhi : Social media platform Twitter has got a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Elon Musk announced late night to step down as CEO of Twitter, but did not reveal the name of the new CEO. However, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal, NBC Universal top advertising sales executive Linda Yacarino may be the new CEO of Twitter.

The Twitter chief announced the appointment of Twitter’s new CEO without naming him. She said that she will start her work in six weeks. Elon Musk tweeted that he would now serve as Twitter’s executive chairman and chief technology officer. Actually, after Musk acquired Twitter, he was looking for a new CEO for Twitter for a long time.

It is noteworthy that Elon Musk bought Twitter on October 27, 2022 for $ 44 billion. After this, Musk had shown the way out to the four top officials of the company. These included CEO Parag Agarwal, finance chief Ned Segal, legal executives Vijaya Gadde and Sean Edgett. Musk has so far fired more than 50 percent of Twitter’s 7,500 employees.
