Later, he will hold a rally in Barabanki districts of Uttar Pradeshand at Piparia in Madhya Pradesh’s Hoshangabad.
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi held a mass contact programme in Amethi. She appealed to the people to vote in favour of the Congress. She also slammed the BJP Government and accused it of not fulfilling the promises of farmers’ income and employment.
Reacting to Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi’s statement in which she says Congress has fielded some candidates to cut into BJP’s vote share in UP, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said this statement shows that Congress Party has conceded its defeat even before elections are over.
BJP President Amit Shah will hold a series of rallies in west Bengal today. He will hold rallies in Bongaon, Howrah, Arambagh, and Hooghly today.
The BJP President will also address a rally in New delhi’s Vasant kunj today . Senior Party Leader Rajnath Singh will also hold a rally in Shastri Park of the national Capital.
Dismissed BSF jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav’s nomination as SP candidate from Varanasi rejected. Earlier, the district election officer had served him notices pointing “discrepancies” in the two nominations filed by him.
BSP supremo Mayawati hits out at Congress for stalling all the development projects. Addressing a joint SP-BSP rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Barabanki, Mayawati said that congress did nothing for the welfare of poor people and farmers in their 60 years of rule.
