2nd day of Global Mobility Summit talks Modi’s 7-C formula

Day two of the Move Global Mobility summit saw several Union Ministers and Chief Ministers chairing and participating in several sessions. The idea is to showcase innovations and work towards building a platform to shape the future of mobility. 

This Summit will set the base for a Transport system which is safe; clean, shared and connected…a transport system that is affordable, accessible and inclusive. Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Puri chaired a panel discussion on ‘Mobility in Cities: Practitioner’s Perspective’.

He said a robust public transport system is the need of the hour. The second session of the day was a Dialogue On Sustainable Mobility By Global Thought Leaders.

Petroleum Minister delivered the keynote address. He said as we move towards the future the transition has to be focused on clean & affordable mobility solutions. India’s transportation has to be driven by Public Transport.

And on day two Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis built upon PM Modi’s 7 C formula as he presented the States’ perspective in the third session. 

Rajiv Kumar, the Vice Chairman of Niti Aayog called for a collaborative effort from states and all other stakeholders to ensure transformation in the mobility sector.
