Jaisalmer: Two Saudi Arabian nationals and a Telangana resident were caught using a satellite Phone by a joint team of military intelligence and police on Friday in Pokhran. Army exercises are frequently held in Pokhran where it has a base.
Ten mobile phones were also recovered from the trio who are under interrogation. Passports were also recovered from the Saudi nationals, Alsabhan Tala Mohammad A and Alshammari Mohammad Abdulaziz. Aadhaar and Voter cards were found on the Telangana resident, Syed Mohsin.
Military intelligence received a tip off about suspicious people using a satellite phone and raided a hotel. The accused admitted to using the phone at a village near Pokhran where Mohsin knew a resident. The Saudi nationals were travelling on a valid visa. tnn
