Congress protests against four years of BJP government’s ‘misrule’

JAIPUR: The Opposition Congress took to the streets in protest against the alleged four years of ‘misrule’ of the BJP Government in the state on Tuesday. The Congressman shouting the slogan of ‘Kisan Kangal, Youva Behal, Badhali Ke Char Saal’ carrying banners displaying the alleged scams under the BJP rule gathered at the Jaipur collectorate.

RPCC president Sachin Pilot, Opposition leader Rameshwar Dudi and senior party leaders present at the dharna organized by the city party unit. Pratap Singh Kachariyawas, president of the city unit, said, hundreds of Congress workers from all the 91 wards of the Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) participated in the dharna.

Speaking on the occasion, Sachin Pilot said, on the four years of the corrupt Bjp Government, the party tried to uncover the real face of the BJP to the people with the alleged scams under its watch.

He said, “The BJP government has cheated every section of the society in the state. That is the reason government alone is left to celebrate the four year function while people participation is absent.”

He said, the public money is being spent for the celebration and the Congress would seek answers from the government.

He claimed that the mining scam, scams in JDA-JMC were unravelled by the Congress and had fought against the anti-democratic anti-people ‘Kala Kanoon’ referring to the controversial (Criminal Law (Rajasthan Amendment) Ordinance 2017) and finally the government was brought to its knees.

He said, the chief minister despite completing four years in office is now banking on caste leaders by calling caste based meetings at different places bringing indignity to the office she occupies. He said all sections of the people are unhappy under this government, including employees, traders, labourers, farmers, students are feeling helpless.

Meanwhile, Congress put up a clock in front of the RPCC office showing days, hours, and minutes and seconds left of the Raje government in the state.

The title of the clock says, “Jan Jan ke sapne hoge sakar, Janata ko mileja sheh aur pyaar. Jab Congress ke beneji Sarkar, Intesar hai keval …”.
