Dhoni’s third ‘like’ on Twitter came on Tuesday, and it is a very interesting – and apparently tongue-in-cheek – choice.
Under the ‘likes’ section on his Twitter page, the top tweet is one from the account of @Inkhabar, the official handle for India News, which has run a story in Hindi which translates to ‘CONFIRMED: the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup will be won by Virat Kohli’s team’ followed by the words ‘Match Fixed’. The tweet has the accounts of Kohli, Dhoni, Ravi Shastri, the BCCI, Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev, Mohammad Azharuddin, Anurag Thakur, Rajiv Shukla, Sharad Pawar, Gautam Gambhir and Ajay Jadeja tagged.

The last time Dhoni hit ‘like’ for a tweet was December 31, 2014 for a tweet from the BCCI account for a Ranji Trophy match between Hyderabad and Services. His only other ‘like’ is a tweet from journalist and TV anchor Rajdeep Sardesai, on March 10, 2013.
Dhoni’s participation in the 2019 World Cup – to be held in England – has been a talking point for a couple years, and with each passing cricket season the debate has raged on. He is 36, but his fitness remains unparalleled as a wicketkeeper-batsman and both Kohli and Shastri have defended Dhoni against criticism of his batting, each time the issue has cropped up.
